Hi, I'm Donavon West
I'm a full-stack software engineer, web developer, author, and speaker, living in the New York City area. I work as an independent contractor at Donavon, LLC.
I currently find myself "between gigs" at the moment (i.e. unemployed). I'm looking for contract work but would consider FTE if the right position came along (remote or in NYC).

My Tech Stack
TypeScript is a programming language developed and maintained by Microsoft. It is a strict syntactical superset of JavaScript and adds optional static typing to the language.
React is an open-source front-end JavaScript library for building user interfaces based on UI components. It is maintained by Meta (i.e. Facebook) and a community of developers.
Remix is a full stack web framework that lets you focus on the user interface and work back through web fundamentals to deliver a fast, slick, and resilient user experience.

With this awesome article [SSR Date Formatting in Remix using the User's Locale], I have now resolved million of production errors (hydrate) in my Remix app (React 18).
I've enhanced it with timeZone, no more hydrate errors 🥳
